May we assist you?

Radiosurgical RescueAt the Centers for Radiosurgical Rescue, which are located in Jacksonville, Gainesville, Sanford (Orlando), and Brandon (Tampa), Florida,  we use the Cyberknife to offer patients with early stage lung cancer a non-surgical opportunity for cure.

In so doing we extend a therapeutic lifeline to those who have been declared medically inoperable or untreatable and to those who are opposed to surgery or protracted radiation treatments.

In addition, we offer quality of life assistance to those whose cancer has recurred at a site previously treated with traditional radiation therapy no matter the origin or type.

The precise and painless high-dose short-course rapid-response radiation treatments we offer over two to three days produce results similar to those of surgery, and exceed those achieved with traditional radiation programs. Few prefer thirty to forty traditional treatments over six to eight weeks when three to four in less than a week will suffice!

High-dose short-course rapid-response radiation therapy has several names including Radiosurgery (RS), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT). Please click “Radiosurgical Perspectives” for detail.

For patients on “watchful waiting” programs we also offer an advanced bronchoscopic technology that facilitates biopsy of their lung nodule to determine if it is cancerous or not … thereby relieving unnecessary anxiety while at the same time preparing the patient for Cybertherapy should a diagnosis of cancer be made.

We take pride in serving both the physical needs and human concerns of our patients before, during, and after treatment no matter whether they live nearby or far away. We work with your physicians (Primary Care, Pulmonologist, Thoracic Surgeon, and Oncologist) before and after treatment as you direct. Their insight into your medical conditions (especially pulmonary and cardiac) is important. They will receive timely correspondence and complete records of your treatment, as will you, after we have returned you to shore.
